Bob Marsh, CEO and President

Bob Marsh is an entrepreneur with over 30 years in the software and high technology industry. Most recently Mr. Marsh was a Partner with Red Rock Ventures. Prior to joining Red Rock Ventures, Mr. Marsh founded and served as CEO of three venture funded startups: Plexus Computers, Onyx Systems and ImageOnline. He also founded and served as the first President of the Unix trade association, UniForum. Earlier in his career, he held a variety of development and management positions within several MIS organizations and systems integrators.

Mr. Marsh earned a B.A. in Computer Science from U. C. Berkeley.

Wayne Stidolph, VP Engineering

Wayne Stidolph is an experienced software executive with extensive development, architecture and management experience. Most recently Mr. Stidolph consulted with early stage companies helping teams gel and build high-quality middleware and distributed systems. Previously, Mr. Stidolph was Vice President of Engineering at Siderean Software, a provider of a low-latency faceted navigation engine. At Sideran he led product development, quality assurance and documentation. He reduced revision delivery time 75% while increasing measured quality. Prior to Siderean, Mr. Stidolph was Chief Architect at Lutris Technologies, evangelizing their open source vision and shipping an innovative commercial J2EE server that supported non-J2EE services and enhanced ASP revenue model. Previous work included management and development positions at Progress Software, Versant, and GTE Government Systems (now General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems).

Mr. Stidolph holds a BS Electrical Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnic University where he was Valedictorian and an Advanced Software Certificate and MS Computer Science from Stanford University.

Jerry Schumacher, Ph.D., VP Professional Services

Jerry Schumacher brings 20 years of experience running and supporting small, medium and large organizations. He has extensive experience working with federal, state, and foreign government institutions. Most recently, Mr. Schumacher served as Sr. Technical Staff Member for General Dynamics C4 Systems where he created and implemented a prototype development plan and recruited customers for development of a world-wide access point device that enabled communications of remote sensor networks, vehicle tracking, and more to and from anywhere in the world. Prior to General Dynamics, Mr. Schumacher was Program Manager for the National Technology Alliance (NTA) where he successfully designed and prototyped technologies leading to product launch and commercialization, expanding NTA's portfolio by 50% and increasing new stakeholder investment by 28%. Previous work included NOC Manager and Chief Operations Officer Data Systems Unit for The White House, and Program Director for EE and CS Department at West Point.

Mr. Schumacher holds a BS Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a MS Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. Computer Science from Arizona State University. His dissertation was in "An Integrated Approach for Security on Demand in High Speed, Shared Use Networks."

Alan Crawley, VP Business Development

Alan Crawley has 26 years of sales and business development experience with a record of driving growth through innovative sales strategies in the network management, storage management, and security software industries. Prior to joining Appscio, Mr. Crawley successfully positioned three companies for either acquisition or IPO. He has held Director and Vice President roles at Legato Software, Seagate Software, and Make Systems. At Legato, he negotiated OEM licensing agreements with HP, HDS, and SGI. He pioneered the use of 900 numbers to sell software support and developed the first "pay-as-you-go" software license model, which became the ASP and SaaS license models.

Mr. Crawley attended Cleveland State University, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Physics.
