Mark Angel

Mark Angel has worked in the fields of knowledge management, search, statistics and software development for more than two decades. Most recently Mr. Angel was CTO of KNOVA Software, where he was responsible for the product and technology vision of the company. He joined KNOVA through the merger of ServiceWare Technologies and Kanisa, where he served as CTO. He founded Kanisa in 1997, and served as CEO until 1999. During this initial period of product development, the company created an innovative knowledge management and search platform. Prior to Kanisa, Mark was a founder of Papyrus Technology, a leading provider of intelligent trading workstations, and a multi-million dollar business that was sold to Ernst & Young, LLP in 1996. Papyrus' software for real-time market analysis was used by thousands of professional traders at leading investment banks, brokerage firms, commodity houses and money center banks. Papyrus' technical leadership included shipping the first Windows-based trading station, the first graphical expert system for trading support, and one of the initial Internet-based market analysis packages.

During more than ten years spent developing and programming software, Mark helped build leading applications for statistical analysis, business accounting and commodity hedging. He studied economics at the University of Chicago, and was a recipient of the Truman Scholarship in 1978.

Tom Bevilacqua, ArrowPath

Tom Bevilacqua is Managing Partner at ArrowPath. He co-founded ArrowPath in 1997 and is a Managing Partner of the firm. He brings over 20 years of Silicon Valley experience as an executive, general manager, investor and advisor to technology driven companies. Tom primarily focuses on investments in application and infrastructure software, including technology leveraged business and consumer services.

Tom currently serves on the Board of Active Reasoning, Appscio, BlueRoads, Innoprise, MetaLincs, Remend, Vyatta and Xceedium. Prior investments and Board seats include Digital Island (acquired by Cable & Wireless), Critical Path (CPTH), NetSec (acquired by MCI), Immunix (acquired by Novell), Sanera (acquired by McData), Persist (acquired by Hewlett-Packard) and Knight Trading Group (NITE).

Prior to ArrowPath, Tom served as an Executive Vice President of E*TRADE Financial. At E*TRADE, Tom held a number of operational roles and was instrumental in establishing E*TRADE's successful acquisition and investment strategies. Tom was previously a Partner at two of Silicon Valley's leading law firms, where he lead practice groups targeting the needs of technology start-ups. In this role, Tom served as an advisor in over 250 public and private financings.

Tom received his B.S. in Business Administration and J.D. from the University of California.

Kip Myers, Red Rock

Kip Myers is a successful venture investor and entrepreneur. Prior to Red Rock, Kip was a partner in Vanguard III, IV and V over a fourteen year period. Previously, he was founder and vice president of engineering and marketing of Plexus Computers. Kip also co-founded Onyx Systems. Earlier he served as an engineering manager at Zilog.

Kip earned an M.B.A. and a B.S.E.E. from U.C. Berkeley.
